network / Prof. Emmanuel Trizac

Prof. Emmanuel Trizac  received his PhD in Ecole normale supérieure de Lyon in 1997, where he had graduated in 1994. After a post-doctorate at AMOLF in Amsterdam, he joined the University Paris-Sud in 1998 as an assistant professor. He was a visiting scholar in University of California at San Diego in 2005-2006, and an invited professor in the University of Barcelona in 2007 and 2010. He now is a full professor of theoretical physics, and was a member of Institut Universitaire de France (2008-2013). His research pertains to soft condensed matter, and non equilibrium statistical physics. He has co-authored 130 publications in international peer-reviewed journals (h=31). Since 2012, he heads the Theoretical and Statistical Models Laboratory (LPTMS), a joint CNRS/Paris-Sud unit of 50 members.
